This all began with minding my friends dog. They then recommended me to someone in a dog group they are friends with and it went on from there. This came from people not wanting to put their dogs in kennels, which I get! I know my own dog does not do well in kennels and is much more comfortable when in her home. This is why I like to stay in the dogs home. It can be stressful for a dog to be away from their humans so if staying in their home will allow this time apart easier, I am happy to help.
At the same time I know not everyone would be comfortable having someone stay in their house, so I can also take dogs to my own home. In this case your dog must be dog friendly as I do have my own dogs too.
I like to adapt my style of minding to suit each dog. If you have a social dog, I will do my best to take them to dog parks or meet ups with other dogs. If they are more nervous or reactive I will keep their interaction with other dogs to a minimum or avoid all together where possible.
In Home Dog Minding
€50 per day
I will come and stay in your home with your dog. In this situation your dog will be the only dog I mind. This is your home and I will respect that. This is a great option for reactive or anxious dogs that don’t do well in other peoples homes.
My Home Dog Minding
€40 per day
Your dog will come and stay in my home. They will be with other dogs, so this is better for those who are social. Your dog will have all the comforts of staying in a home, including being aloud on the couch and bed.
Additional Animals
€10-€20 per day
This is an additional fee for additional dogs or any other animal sibling your dog may have. The price will vary depending on the type of animal and the additional work needed to look after them.
